Pitchfork Fondue, a western outdoor cookout, open Thursday, Friday and Saturday, mid-June to Labor Day, at the Pinedale Rodeo Grounds, 1/8th mile south of Pinedale on Hwy 191. (Turn left, up the hill, at the first designated highway turn lane south of town.)
Delicious CHOICE SIRLOIN STEAK sizzles to perfection in a cauldron of hot oil on the tines of a pitchfork. Darrell cooks each steak "just the way you like it." Munching hot, homemade POTATO CHIPS while you watch steaks cook is a delight for all.
FONDUE SAUCES, crisp GREEN SALAD with a choice of dressings, fresh FRUIT SALAD, a variety of ROLLS, COFFEE, ICED TEA, and LEMONADE accompany the meat and potatoes. BROWNIES and LEMON BARS "made from scratch" top off this gourmet experience. (If you prefer, chicken breast may be substituted upon request. Please call in advance.)
Enjoy western cooking at its best in a natural setting with a beautiful view of the spectacular Wind River Mountains. It's a great place to bring children.
Dinner is served from 5:30 to 8:00 p.m. Reservations are appreciated. Credit cards accepeted are American Express, Discover, Master Card and Visa.
Make reservations at Pitchfork Fondue for your family reunions, wedding rehearsal dinners, company picnics, business lunches, organizations and birthday parties, or any group function, Monday through Saturday. Handcrafted picnic tables under terra cotta canopy covers seat up to 240 people.
